2016 SUG donates 16 magnetic boards to the College

The 2015/2016 outgoing Student Union Executives of Adeyemi College of Education, Ondo led by Comrade Richard Ogunrotifa has donated 18 pieces of large magnetic board to the College.


Presenting the magnetic boards sponsored by United Healthcare International to the College Management on Tuesday, 18th October, 2016 the Student Union President, Comrade Richard Ogunrotifa expressed his appreciation to the College Management who he described as fathers and mothers during his tenure.


He also expressed sincere appreciation to the Management of United Healthcare International for making his dream of leaving an enduring legacy in the College a reality. “I am an advocate of good name and I cannot soil my good name and today I am happy that my name is boldly written on the white boards. We have received these magnetic boards with passion and joy”.
He urged the sponsors of the project, United Healthcare International to continue to do more for the College as part of their Social Corporate Responsibility.


In his remarks, the representative of the Managing Director ofUnited Healthcare International, Mr. Olayiwola Lasisi described the presentation as significant as they are products that will be useful for all students and he prayed that the token should be put to judicious use.


Receiving the magnetic board on behalf of the College management, the Deputy Provost, Dr. Samuel Akintunde thanked the United Healthcare International for their collaboration with the Student Union to provide magnetic boards to the College. He commended the Student Union President, Richard Ogunrotifa for leading the student populace for good one year without any major crisis. He described him as a focused, honest and transparent Student Union leader who had been able to present a financial statement of his administration leaving N101, 000 in the coffers of the Student Union.


The brief ceremony which rounded up with the commissioning of the boards by the Deputy Provost had in attendance, the Acting Librarian, Mr Akinade Awoyemi, the College PRO, Mr Moses Akinfolarin, Representatives of United Healthcare, Mr Owoka Omolayo, Basit Adepoju, Adekunle Rita and Eniolorunda Tosin and Special Assistant to the SUG President, Comrade Ariyo Olurotimi.
