Adeyemi College staff sharpens computer skills

The Management of Adeyemi College of Education {ACE} Ondo, recently organised a five-day Computer training programme for staff of the Institution.

The 120 participants who attended the training programme which took place as from the 9th -13th May, 2016 at the Management Information Service {MIS} building, were drawn from various Departments and Units in the College.

Speaking on the programmes, Mrs. Okon Ramatu, a Senior Officialfrom Digital Bridge Institute {DBI},  the organisation handling the training exercise, explained that during the period, participants was trained on the use of Internet, Power point presentation, Excel, Microsoft Word and other aspect of computer applications.

She commended the College for organising the programme and assured that her company had lived up to expectation in the discharge of its duties.

While emphasising the need for more staff of the institution to be given opportunity to undergo the training, the BDI Senior official, said the step would go a long way in boosting their skills, and enhance efficiency in the use and application of computer, for their personal and official duties.

She lauded the College Management for provision of facilities at the training centre and commended participants for their cooperation, dedication and punctuality while advising them to make judicious use of knowledge acquired in their various places of work.

The training programme which had three instructors, Messrs Mayungbo Joseph Gbenga, Herbert Adinde and Samuel Oliseh Nwakpudolu in attendance, climaxed with the presentation of Certificate of Attendance to participants among whom was the Head, Information and Public Relations Unit in the College, Mr. Moses Olusola Akinfolarin.
