CONFERENCE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CALL FOR PAPERS
THE CLAMOUR FOR OUR SECESSION and resource control by different nationalities and groups in Nigeria has become very vigorous and dangerous in recent times. Theses agitations have made both the social and economic space of the country very suffocating and repressive.
There is the fear of strife and war everywhere and the daily activities of the people are consistently disrupted by youth militancy against government military apparatus. These scenarios have created very tense and oppressive social and economic atmosphere such that positive cohesion and little progress enjoyed in these spheres have started to disintegrate. It has scared away investors while the business and economic activities are threatened, with the already battered Nigerian economy further nose-diving. It is against this backdrop that this conference provides the platform for various scientists, scholars, technocrats, academics and people from all walks of life for intellectual interaction, discourse, and sharing of ideas in all areas of the sub theme to proffer solutions to the problems of national development.
Intending conferees are to submit an abstract of not more than 300 words on their proposed papers. This should be forwarded to any of the following e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org and email@example.com
All abstracts are to be received by 20th may, 2018, while the full paper should be submitted by 1st June, 2018. Each participant sending abstract and full paper should include title of proposed paper: author’s contact details (institutional affiliation, e-mail address and phone number) Research notes in respect of any of the sub-themes are also welcome. All submissions are to be made electronically.
However, participants should bring along five hard-copies of their papers to the registration desk. It must be noted that all papers presented at the conference will be peer-reviewed and if found publishable shall be published thereafter. It is therefore anticipated that all entries should be packaged for publication and not just for conference presentation.
